Marbut's

Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him.  And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.  "Ecclesiastes 4:12"

This week when I went in for my 30 week pregnancy doctor visit everything looked great, just a few more weeks and the much awaited baby girl will be in our arms.

Then I went for the scheduled ultrasound, there as well everything looked great, then the doctor saw something then indicated I would need to come back the next morning for further investigation.  When I went back the next morning the doctor did an extensive ultrasound and found that the baby indeed has a mass in her spleen, a relatively large mass 3 x 4 cm, comparably to her size, around 3 pounds.
The next day the doctor called with more news.  I would need to be in Quito (the capital of Ecuador) to undergo more testing and investigation.  There is also a high concern that she is not receiving all the fluids and nutrients through the umbilical cord that she should be.  I was told that I will need to go to Quito next week and possible stay until delivery.  The doctor is talking about taking the baby early to avoid any health treats to her in last stages of pregnancy.

I hear what the doctors are saying and completely understand, however, I hear what the Lord says and I will believe the report of the Lord, not the report of the doctors!
Please believe with us that the Lord will heal our baby girl, that He will supernaturally remove that mass in her spleen and open all flow in the umbilical cord and that through this miracle the doctors will come to know what a miraculous Lord we serve and He will receive the glory and honor He deserves.
Thank you once more for standing with us in prayer for our family, this time for our baby girl, a promise of the Lord!
