THE PLANET'S PURPOSE

Our purpose is to raise up an army of young people fully disciplined in Christ to win their generation for Jesus Christ.

Our Philosophy is to WIN, BUILD, and SEND this generation for Jesus Christ.

To win non-Christian young people between the ages of 12 and 23 to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.  To build an army of young people trained to win others and be disciples of Jesus Christ.  To send them into their world to be a light in darkness and an ambassador for Christ.

HOW DO WE ACHIEVE OUR

PURPOSE?

We have many opportunities to minister and fellowship throughout the year.  From lock-ins to Youth Convention, the year is packed with activities.

Wednesday night Services -- Our main event is our mid-week at 7:00 p.m.  We have crowd breakers, great praise and worship, drama, and a relevant message for today's youth.

We are involved in raising a generation that is prepared to minister.  The Assemblies of God offers the Fine Arts Festival, which helps develop young people's skills in ministry such as music, drama, and art.  Students have a chance to compete on local, state, and national levels.

Students will also have an opportunity to go on A.I.M. missions trips, both within Alabama and around the world, to share the gospel to this hurting and dying world.

Our youth ministry has given almost $200,000 to missions over the past 10 years through Speed-the-Light and we are not backing down now!  We make a new pledge each year in order to help raise money for missionary vehicles.

Drama Program -- We have an anointed drama and human video ministry.  The drama team meets for services, during special adult services, and for outreaches.

Discipleship and Bible Quiz -- Our youth ministry offers an outstanding discipleship program called Bible Quiz  Practices are on Thursday nights at 6:00 p.m.  Bible Quiz equips young people with the word of God that they can use for the rest of their lives!
